Career
Baim first worked in 1997 as a soap opera player. But at that time Baim wasn't very serious about it. Baim decided seriously in the world of soap operas in 2005. The first time he played in the soap opera Cinta Hilang Cinta Kembali. After that, he played many roles in soap operas.
His first film was a Dilemma in 2012, and through his debut film he was immediately rewarded with the Favorite New Arrivals Actor award at the Indonesian Movie Awards 2012. Since then the offer to play films began to arrive. Even so, Baim still remained loyal to play soap operas and broke the notion that Indonesian actors could only be inclined as film or soap opera players.
In 2018 he and his wife, Paula Verhoeven, created a YouTube channel that quickly gained many subscribers, their social experiment videos while disguised as homeless and crazy people on YouTube were reach more than 10 Million Views and became trending on YouTube Indonesia for a weeks.
Personal life
Baim was born on April 27, 1981, in Jakarta, the youngest of five children of the couple, businessman Johnny Wong and Kartini Marta Atmadja. On July 2018, after dating for only three months, he got engaged to Indonesian supermodel Paula Verhoeven. The couple tied the knot on November 2018.
