Badger Township, Webster County, Iowa
Badger Township is in Webster County, Iowa. The population is 1,287 with 646 males and 641 females. The land area is 37.0 square miles (96 km2) and the water area 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2)[1] The township got its name when a group of soldiers in the early 1850s saw a badger for the first time.[2] The township has a cemetery called Hover Cemetery.[3]
