Coaching career

After retiring, Ben Askar started working as a football agent.[2][3] However, he stopped as a agent because he missed being on the pitch and instead started tacking his coaching licens.

Ben Askar started his coaching career with the U17 team of Stade Mayennais as a part of the proces to get his coaching licens.[1] In the summer 2015, Ben Askar also began working for UNFP FC (Union Nationale des Footballeurs)[4][5] as well as being appointed manager of AS Bourny Laval, which also was a part of the proces to get his licens.[6] In May 2016 he announced, that he would not continue at Bourny because he wanted to try something new with more adrenaline.[7] Ben Askar also left UNFP in 2017.

In the summer 2018, Ben Askar had several offers but preferred to stay in France. He was then appointed manager of AC Ajaccio's U19 team.[4] In November 2019, he was appointed manager of his former club, Umm Salal SC, in Qatar.[8]

gollark: Quantum computers can apparently cause problems for all widely deployed asymmetric cryptography via Shor's algorithm.
gollark: It apparently makes brute force take O(sqrt n) time somehow.
gollark: Yes, something something grover's algorithm.
gollark: This is... interesting. I would run it through some sort of automatic formatter tool.
gollark: These are designed to work best on general purpose CPUs - to prevent using dedicated hardware to accelerate bruteforce - and to have a tunable time requirement.
