History

Atlanta Tech Village was founded by David Cummings in 2012[2] as a small business incubator.[3] Within its first year the incubator had 180 tenant companies.[4][5][6] By the end of 2019, Atlanta Tech Village had been involved in the raising of about $900 million in venture capital financing.[7]

Incubator

The Village is now the fourth largest tech hub in the US,[8] housing about 300 companies in 2018,[9][10] and partners with larger corporations like Turner, Google, Amazon, Microsoft and Coca-Cola to form relationships between startups and larger establishments.[11][12] Past companies have included Yik Yak, BitPay, and IO Education.[8] The Village also houses international offshoots from foreign tech companies alongside its American startups. [13][14] The company has about 1000 entrepreneurs working complex, which are connected to angel investors and funding sources, in addition to business mentors. The Village also has a pre-accelerator program that works with minorities and women in the early stages of their business development.[15]

Space

In addition to its investments, Atlanta Tech Village rents both office space and individual desks to technology companies.[2] The complex is 103,000 square feet in total.[16]

gollark: Also, if you do throw out your existing RAM (don't, keep it somewhere for future use, but I mean if you stop using it), buy 3200MHz DIMMs if they're not much more expensive.
gollark: Why 64GB?
gollark: So just buy two more 3000MHz 8GB DIMMs, the RTX 2∅7∅, and enjoy better fps.
gollark: Or some weird combination, I guess.
gollark: Since you'd need 4x 16GB DIMMs or 2x 32GB.
