Ata Geldiýew

Ata Geldiýew (born January 27, 1990) is a professional Turkmen football player currently playing for FC Abdysh-Ata Kant in Kyrgyz Premier League.[3]

Club career

In 2006, the Ata Geldiýew was in an application for the season at FC HTTU,[4] the team that season became the champion of Turkmenistan.

In 2009–2011, he played in the top division for FC Ashgabat, on May 14, 2010 he scored a hat-trick in the match against FC Ahal (4: 0). In 2011 he became the bronze medalist of 2011 Ýokary Liga and finalist of the 2011 Turkmenistan Cup.

In 2013–2014 he played for FC Ahal, became the owner of the 2013 Turkmenistan Cup and the 2014 Turkmenistan Super Cup, scored goals in both final matches.

In 2017, he again played for FC Ahal, that season he became vice-champion of 2017 Ýokary Liga and winner of the 2017 Turkmenistan Cup.

At the beginning of 2018, he joined the Indonesian Football League club Perseru Serui,[5][6] but returned to FC Ahal a couple of months later and played in the 2018 AFC Cup.

In the summer of 2018, he moved to the FC Alay in Kyrgyzstan,[7] and at the end of the season he became the silver medalist of the Kyrgyz Premier League.

On 14 March 2020, Geldiýew made his debut in FC Abdysh-Ata Kant in a 2–0 win against FC Kara-Balta.[8]

National team

As part of the youth team of Turkmenistan, he took part in the 2012 Commonwealth of Independent States Cup, played 6 matches at the tournament.[9]

Repeatedly called into the expanded composition of the national team of Turkmenistan. In 2014, he was part of the national team in the final tournament of the AFC Challenge Cup, but in all matches remained a substitute. Did not play in official matches.
