Ashi Singh

Ashi Singh is an Indian television actress.[1] She portrayed the role of Naina Agarwal in Sony Entertainment Television's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai and currently appears as Princess Yasmine in Sony SAB's Aladdin.[2]

Career

Ashi Singh made her television debut through the show Secret Diaries:The Hidden Chapters in 2015[3][4] She was also seen in Gumrah (season 5) and Crime Patrol (Tamasha Mandli)[1][5] She has also acted in Savdhaan India.[6] Ashi starred in the music video Zindagi Tujhse Kya Karen Shikvey opposite Ayesha Takia in 2017. She did a small role in Qaidi Band as the jailer's daughter.[7]

In 2017, she was selected to play the lead role (Naina Agarwal) in SET India's show, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai paired opposite Randeep Rai (Sameer Maheshwari). The show ran successfully until August 2019, with a season 2 set at an indefinite date.

In 2020, Ashi paired up with Paras Kalnawat for a music video, Tere Naal Rehna. It was filmed following the social distancing rules due to COVID-19.

From July 2020, Ashi will be seen in Sony SAB's Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga as Yasmine with actor Siddharth Nigam, replacing Avneet Kaur.

Singh was a finalist for BizAsia's TV Personality 2018 award and she was ranked 10 on that list.[8] She was ranked 18th in Eastern Eye's "50 Sexiest Asian Women 2018" list.[9] In 2019 she has featured in the cover interview of EasternEye in its 1500th issue, in the title of "The Future Belongs to Ashi Singh".[10]
