Asara Rural District
Asara Rural District (Persian: دهستان آسارا) is a rural district (dehestan) in Asara District, Karaj County, Alborz Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population (before Asara's elevation to city status, thus leaving the Rural District) was 3,780, in 1,109 families; afterward, the remaining population (as of 2006) was 3,283, in 964 families.[1] The rural district has 11 villages.
