Arjun Mathur
Arjun Mathur (born 18 October 1981) is an Indian film actor working predominantly in Bollywood and in independent films.[2] He was also seen in the British drama series, Indian Summers. He plays a lead character in a TV series, Made in Heaven.[3][4]

Early life and education
Arjun Mathur was born in London, England.[5] His father is a hotelier and he has an older brother and a younger sister. His mother died in a car accident when he was much younger.[6]
Mathur went to school at St. Columbas School, Delhi, St. Mary's School, Mumbai and finally The British School, New Delhi where he completed his schooling. Post this he pursued his graduation at Oaklands College, St Albans, Hertfordshire.[7]
He has also trained as an actor at Barry John's institute as well as the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.[8]
Career
Before he started acting, Mathur served as an Assistant Director on the sets Bollywood films like Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..., Mangal Pandey: The Rising, Rang De Basanti and Bunty Aur Babli.[9]
In 2007, he made his debut opposite Irrfan Khan in Mira Nair's Migration and as Shabana Azmi and Boman Irani's son in Farhan Akhtar's Positive.[10] His performance as a struggling actor in Zoya Akhtar's Luck By Chance received rave reviews.[11]
He then appeared in Barah Aana with Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz and in Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan. In 2011 he appeared in Onir's I Am in which he had a controversial intimate gay scene.[12] The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.[13] He also appeared in an Airtel 3G ad with Aditi Rao Hydari[8] and in ad for Axis Bank. He is widely known for his role of KD in Bring on the Night which was aired on MTV India in 2012.[14] He also appeared in the music video of Khudi by The Local Train.[15]
In 2019, he co-starred in the TV Series Made in Heaven, where he plays the role of an entrepreneur along with Sobhita Dhulipala.[16] His character is a gay man in a time when it was a criminal offence to be homosexual or indulge in homosexuality.[17]
