Ardozyga tyroessa

Ardozyga tyroessa is a species of moth in the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Turner in 1933. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.[1]

The wingspan is about 18 mm (0.71 in). The forewings are ochreous-orange with sparse dark fuscous irroration, mostly in the terminal third, and markings. There is a broad outwardly oblique mark at one-third representing conjoined the first discal and plical, the second discal about two-thirds, a costal dot at one-sixth, another at three-fifths, and four smaller between this and the apex. There is also a fine interrupted terminal line. The hindwings are grey, paler towards base.[2]
