Ante (Croatian pronunciation: [ǎːnte]) is both a Croatian and Swedish male first name, while Antė is a Lithuanian masculine given name that is a diminutive form of Antanas used in Lithuania.[1] It is a common Croatian given name used as a diminutive form of Anton, Antonio, and Antonijo in Lithuania.[2] However, as a Swedish name, it is unrelated to these names that derive from Antonius and instead is a dimutive form of Anders and Andreas used in Sweden.[3]
