Founded in 2001, its former Editor-in-Chief is Susannah Frankel,[2] who joined in January 2016. Frankel[2] had been Fashion Features Director of the magazine since its launch and a regular contributor to Dazed & Confused since 1998. Its website[3] was launched in 2009. In 2020,  AnOther Magazine enlisted its partner magazine Another Man to combine forces to create a biannual print title that addresses all gender identities and is at the heart of fashion and culture.  The masthead draws on generations of longstanding Dazed Media contributors including Jefferson Hack as editorial director; Susannah Frankel as editor-in-chief, Marc Ascoli as creative director, Katie Shillingford and Ellie Grace Cumming as fashion directors and Alexander Fury as fashion features director.[4][5][6]

Contributors

Contributors to the title include photographers Alasdair McLellan, Willy Vanderperre,[7] Nick Knight[8] and Inez and Vinoodh.[9] AnOther Magazine is published by Dazed Media, an independent media group.[10] The company's portfolio includes Dazed, Dazed Beauty , and NOWNESS

In 2016, to celebrate its 15th anniversary AnOther Magazine commissioned holographer and artist Rob Munday[12] to create 1000 limited edition hand-made 3D covers of Karl Lagerfeld.[13]

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, AnOther launched the #CultureIsNotCancelled’ campaign on AnOthermag.com. The campaign was devoted to supporting creative workers by showcasing their postponed or cancelled projects – fashion collections, art and photography exhibitions, films, and more – as well providing much-needed cultural relief.[25]

gollark: Again, not that it would help the core issue.
gollark: I'd favour some sort of logarithmic dropoff there.
gollark: 191 total dragons, joined about two months ago.
gollark: I think I've got about 90 dragons/month recently anyway.
gollark: Madness.
