Aneesha Ummer

Aneesha Salma Ummer is an Indian film actress and a beauty pageant titleholder from Kerala. She is best known for her Malayalam short film Ente Hridayathinte Vadakku Kizhakke Attathu (translated as: At the North East Corner of My Heart),[1] which gained much popularity among the Malayali viewers.[2]

Personal life and career

Aneesha was born in Bangalore, Karnataka and raised in Gujarat. She did her degree from Bangalore and later she worked as a Flight attendant on IndiGo Airlines for a few years.[3]

She made her debut through a movie in Kannada as lead actress opposite famous actor Rakshit Shetty and later she went on to act in more than 20 short films in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada overall. She was crowned the 1st Runner-up at Miss Navy Queen 2012.[4]

In 2017, she gained much popularity among the Malayali viewers around the world for her role as Priya in Ente Hridayathinte Vadakku Kizhakke Attathu, a Malayalam short film directed by Anup Narayanan. The film portrays the theme of unrequited love.[5]
