Amparo Rivelles

María Amparo Rivelles Ladrón de Guevara[1] MML (11 February 1925 – 7 November 2013), better known as Amparo Rivelles, was a Spanish actress.[2]

This article uses Spanish naming customs: the first or paternal family name is Rivelles and the second or maternal family name is Ladrón de Guevara.

She worked in Mexican films and telenovelas. She was the daughter of actor Rafael Rivelles and actress María Fernanda Ladrón de Guevara,[1] and the half-sister of actor Carlos Larrañaga.

During her long career, she earned a LatinACE award, a Goya Award, as well as a National Theater Prize.[3]
