Club career

Born in Bamako, Mallé began his senior career with AS Black Stars. In July 2015 he went on a trial at 1. FC Köln,[1] but nothing came of it.

Mallé agreed to a contract with Watford F.C. late in February 2016,[2] and officially joined the Hornets on 29 July.[3]

Immediately after joining Watford Mallé was loaned to Granada CF, being initially assigned to the reserves in Segunda División B.[4] He made his debut for the B-side on 4 September, coming on as a late substitute in a 2–1 home win against La Roda CF.[5]

Mallé scored his first goal in Spain on 1 October 2016, but in a 1–2 away loss against Real Murcia.[6] He made his first team – and La Liga – debut on 21 January 2017, starting in a 1–3 defeat at RCD Espanyol.[7]

On 2 June 2017, following Granada's relegation, Mallé signed a five-year contract with Udinese.[8] The following 6 January, after making no appearances for the club, he was loaned to Segunda División side Lorca FC until June.[9]

Mallé scored his first professional goal on 20 January 2018, netting the first after 18 seconds in a 2–3 home loss against SD Huesca.[10]

On 16 January 2019, Mallé joined to Grasshopper on loan with an option to buy.[11] In September 2019, udinese agreed on a loan with Balikesirspor for one year.

International career

Mallé was included in Mali under-17 squad for the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup hosted in Chile.[12] He was elected the Bronze Ball of the tournament, after being an undisputed starter and scoring two goals and providing two assists.[13]

Mallé was also included in the 30-man list ahead of the 2016 African Nations Championship,[14] but was cut from the final squad. He played a key role in qualifying malian under 23 national team for the African Cup of nation U23 in Egypt by beating Moroccan team. During that game Aly shows his worth dominating players like A.Hakimi (Dortmund). It should not take long for him to be called up in Mali senior team in months to come.

Style of playing

He is an intelligent player able to keep the ball under pressure thanks to his technical and physical attributes. Malle is also able to speed up, dribble-pass many adversaries in once. His end product need to be polished up but he can score many goals and make assists too.

gollark: Onto what seems to break it, it looks like the paste you download as `/os/google/google` or whatever is no longer available, and your downloader program does not actually detect this.
gollark: I'm still looking at the other files, since there are a lot.
gollark: <@514040045120913410> That is... kind of bad, some offense.Firstly, the indents. Secondly, using `shell.run` to download files and whatnot is kind of inelegant and probably slow. Thirdly, I don't think it's an "OS" particularly.
gollark: Not without a modified client which is against the ToS.
gollark: And has less evil drivers and doesn't do market segmentation through them.
