Almonte, California
Almonte (originally, Bay Junction;[2] until 1912, Mill Valley Junction[1]) is an unincorporated community in Marin County, California.[1] It is located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 6 miles (9.7 km) south of downtown San Rafael,[2] at an elevation of 20 feet (6 m).[1]
