Allamoore Independent School District
The Allamoore Independent School District was a public school district based in the community of Allamoore, Texas, United States. The approximately 2,100-square-mile (5,400 km2) district was known as the Allamoore Common School District prior to 1993.[1]
By the late 1980s, Allamoore's total enrollment had dropped to fewer than five students, which made it one of the smallest school districts in the state of Texas.
On July 1, 1995, Allamoore ISD consolidated with the Culberson County Independent School District based in nearby Van Horn to form the Culberson County-Allamoore Independent School District.[2]
