Alighiero di Bellincione

Alighiero di Bellincione or Alaghiero di Bellincione[1] (c. 1210–not after 1283) was the father of Dante Alighieri.

Life

Alighiero was born around 1210, the son of Bellincione di Alighiero. He was a member of the Guelph party and was probably a moneylender.[1] Alighiero's first wife was Bella and the couple had one child, Dante, in 1265. After Bella's death, Alighiero married his second wife, Lapa Cialuffi, in 1270 or 1271 and they had two children, Francesco and Gaetana (Tana), who were Dante's half-brother and half-sister, respectively.[1][2] Alighiero died sometime between 1281 and 1283.[3]

gollark: Just use a T2 GPU.
gollark: Well, you do need two GPUs. I have no idea how to transparently run stuff on two, though.
gollark: It won't automatically display the same thing on both. OpenOS picks one for you.
gollark: Do you have two GPUs in the computer?
gollark: Ah, that's not a networked one, then, just local.
