Ali ibn Zainab
‘Alī ibn Zaynab or Ali ibn al-‘Āṣ was a companion and descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Ali was born to Abu al-As ibn al-Rabi' and Zaynab bint Muhammad. His sister was Umamah bint Zainab.
Standing on the Muhammad's shoulders, Ali ibn Zaynab broke the idols (it was wrongly said that Ali ibn Abi-Talib was the one who stood on the shoulders of Muhammad; this fact can be proven by the respective ages of Muhammad and Ali ibn Abi-Talib at the time of Makkah victory).
He took part in the expedition to Tabuk and many other wars, until he was killed in the Battle of Yarmouk.
