Al Cappuccino

Al Cappuccino (Chinese: ) is an upcoming Hong Kong television series produced by TVB. With Lam Chi-wah serving as executive producer, the series stars Vincent Wong as a struggling actor who gets hired by the OCTB of the Hong Kong Police Force to be a fake triad boss in order to take down a powerful gang.

The drama was produced under the working title Triad Weirdo, or Yakuza Weirdo (Chinese: ).[1] Principal photography was in Hong Kong, and lasted from January to April 2019.[2]

Synopsis

A struggling stage actor based in Ohio returns to Hong Kong to pursue his career, but he gets warped into a case that involves him going undercover for the police as a fake mafia boss.

  • Vincent Wong as Cheung Sai-lun (張細倫), a struggling actor who gets forced into becoming a police informant after accidentally getting involved in their case. Taking up the name Chiang Sai-lung (蔣世龍), he pretends to be a triad boss to help the OTCB take down a pair of rival gangs.
  • Owen Cheung as Ko Ban (高彬), an undercover police officer who gets tied up working with Sai-lun
