Al Benson (basketball)

Albert L. Benson (July 27, 1914 – ?) was an American professional basketball player.[1][2] He played in the National Basketball League for the Hammond Ciesar All-Americans and Detroit Eagles in 1940–41 and averaged 1.6 points per game.[2]

Benson served in the U.S. Army during the World War II era and was discharged in March 1946.
