Akim of Nur-Sultan

The Mayor (Kazakh: әкім, ákim) of Nur-Sultan is the chief authority in the city of Nur-Sultan (formerly Astana). The position was established in 1997 when the capital was moved to Astana from Almaty. Currently the position Mayor of Nur-Sultan is being held by Altai Kólginov.[1][2]
