Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai

Aisi Bhi Kya Jaldi Hai (Translation: What's the hurry?) is a 1996 Bollywood comedy drama film starring Vivek Mushran, Shrishti Behl Arya, Ashok Saraf, Archana Puran Singh and Sachin Pilgaonkar in lead roles. The movie was directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar.

Story

The story is about a single father Sanjay Malhotra (Sachin Pilgaokar), who is overly protective of her daughter Simran (Srishti Behl). He alone brings up his daughter with love and care. Simran turns beautiful as she grows up, but she dresses up quite a nerd. Ms. Nisha, a single mother (Archana Puran Singh) shifts into Simran's neighbourhood with her son Longie (Pushkar Jog), who is very smart and intelligent, but completely a mamma's boy. Nisha is an interior decorator and has decorated Vikram's house, with whose family she has good old relations. One day, Nisha has to attend a party at Vikram's house and she leaves her son longie with Simran to babysit him. Longie starts crying badly and wants to go to his mom. Simran anyhow, takes him to the Vikram Mehra (Vivek Mushran) house where the party is going on. She accidentally collides with Vikram, who falls in love with Simran in first sight. Vikram's parents also like Simran as she is cute, simple and innocent. From then on, Vikram starts to woo Simran. After couple of incidents, Simran too starts loving Vikram. Nisha makeovers Simran and she turns out to be even more beautiful. When Simran's Father comes to know about Vikram, he thinks that Vikram will snatch his daughter away from him. So he starts to keep him away from Simran, Due to which a misunderstanding arises among the couple. Simran gets to know the truth about her father, she goes and tell him that she will do as he says, if he doesn't want her to meet Vikram she won't, but Sanjay should not lie to her, and she leaves crying. After realising his mistake, Simran's father accepts his fault and apologies to Vikram. Vikram understands Sanjay's feeling and forgives him, giving him a hug. Vikram writes a note to Simran saying that her father is a really good man and we both have forgotten everything, you too forget all such things. After that marriage preparations start for Vikram and Simran's marriage. But on the wedding night, Simran comes back to her father as she misses him a lot; Sanjay gets worried and tells her Vikram might feel bad, but Vikram who comes from behind tells him that he knows the bonding they share and respects the same; I too wish to have a daughter, which Sanjay replied that remember the daughters grow up faster.
