The Airport Intercity Railway[1] (Chinese: 机场城际; pinyin: Jīchǎng Chéngjì), also known as Xi'an North – Airport Intercity Railway (Chinese: 西安北至机场城际轨道; pinyin: Xī'ān Běi Zhì Jīchǎng Chéngjì Guǐdào)[1] is a rapid transit line in Xi'an and Xianyang. The line uses 6-car Type B rolling stock. It is operated by Shaanxi Intercity Railway Co., Ltd. which is a subsidiary of Shaanxi Province Railway Group Co., Ltd.

The section from Airport West (T1, T2, T3) to Beikezhan (Beiguangchang) was opened in September 29, 2019.[2] It is 29.31 km[1] with 10 stations (9 stations in operation). The line links Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (in Xianyang city) with Xi'an city.

In 2021, the line is planned to be extended to Heshaocun. The extension is known as the Line 14. The extension is 13.65 km with 8 stations.[3]

Fares

Fares start at ¥2 for 4 km, with ¥0.55 added for every 1 km.[4] It costs ¥16 from Beikezhan (Beiguangchang) to Airport West (T1, T2, T3).
