Airport Central railway station

Airport Central railway station is a future station on the Airport line in Perth, Western Australia. It is being built underneath the proposed consolidated terminal at Perth Airport.[2][3] The station will be located between the airport terminals, which are scheduled to be relocated and consolidated by 2022.[4]

In early proposals, the station was named Consolidated Airport.

The station is planned to open in 2021.[5]

Services and platforms

Airport Central will be served by Transperth services operating from Perth to High Wycombe.

Airport Central Station also holds the record for the longest single-span uninterrupted escalator in the Southern Hemisphere.[6]
