Fintiri won the governorship election of Adamawa State that took place on the 9th of March 2019, however, the election was declared inconclusive because the number of cancelled votes was more than the margin between the winner and his close opponent.[5] Umaru Fintiri was declared winner of the election in the early hours of Friday after having secured 376,552 votes to defeat incumbent Governor Jibrilla Bindow of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 336,386 votes.[6]

gollark: NEVER!
gollark: Formats:- decimal (-115280918250, 140105)- base64-encoded number (weird, begins with p or n to indicate sign)- RLE-encoded whatever (begins with r, contains pairs of base36-encoded number of repetitions and character)
gollark: Technically they're *all* numbers.
gollark: Well, it tries to encode them in the shortest possible format.
gollark: And you *can* do just raw decimal, but then the comments will be wrong, because the comment system is kind of tacked on and works directly on the URLs.
