Afraid (Mötley Crüe song)

"Afraid" is a song by the American hard rock band Mötley Crüe, released on their 1997 album Generation Swine. A two-track pig promo picture CD includes the 3:56 Swine Mix and 4:10 Rave Mix. Written by bassist Nikki Sixx, the lyrics were inspired by the early stages of his relationship with Donna D'Errico, when he felt she was running away from him out of fear of getting too close.[1] The song charted at number 10 on the Mainstream rock charts.[2] This is the first single featuring Vince Neil on lead vocals since their cover of "Anarchy in the U.K." in 1991.

gollark: Noerdy never did actually confirm that.
gollark: It looks like an attempt to vaguely emulate real markets, but it uses a Magic Algorithm™ (which they refuse to share because NDAs or something?! *What is going on with that?*) and doesn't... really work.
gollark: No, it wouldn't work even with more users, it's just a stupid idea.
gollark: I mean, I'd call this an alpha of season/version 2.
gollark: No, the demand system is broken.
