Gameplay

Unlike its predecessor, AeroWings 2 deals with air combat training (being, in that sense, a simulation of a simulation), rather than aerial stunts.

Reception

It was well received by reviewers and praised for its realistic physics and high-quality visuals.[1] On release, Famitsu magazine scored the game a 32 out of 40.[2]

Jeff Lundrigan reviewed the Dreamcast version of the game for Next Generation, rating it three stars out of five, and stated that "Aerowings 2 succeeds on its own terms. It's just a matter of whether those terms appeal to you or not."[3]

gollark: Eh, it sort of worked, and I had a good idea for fixing it.
gollark: I should really go `git clone` all the old MemeEconomy stuff in case it gets randomly taken down.
gollark: The old system was "v1"/"Season 1", this is... "v2 alpha".
gollark: It wasn't an "alpha", it was a reasonably successful one which ran for a while but had problems.
gollark: ????
