Administrative divisions of Kiev Oblast

Kiev Oblast is subdivided into districts (raions) and city municipalities (mis'krada or misto), officially known as territories governed by city councils.

As of July 2020, the number of districts is in the process of being reduced to six.[1] These are:

  1. Bila Tserkva (Білоцерківський район), the center is in the town of Bila Tserkva;
  2. Boryspil (Бориспільський район), the center is in the town of Boryspil;
  3. Bucha (Бучанський район), the center is in the town of Bucha;
  4. Fastiv (Фастівський район), the center is in the town of Fastiv;
  5. Obukhiv (Обухівський район), the center is in the town of Obukhiv;
  6. Vyshhorod (Вишгородський район), the center is in the town of Vyshhorod.
