Aditi Rai

Sylvia Dominic (born 31 July 1993), better known by her stage name Aditi Rai is an Indian film actress and model who works in South Indian cinema.[2] In 2018, she entered the Bigg Boss (Malayalam season 1) reality show and emerged as one of the finalists.[3][4][5]

Background

Aditi was born on 31 July 1993 to a Malayali father from Kottayam and a Kannadiga mother—Dominic John and Reeta. She studied Master of Business Administration (MBA). She made her acting debut in the 2011 Kannada film Prince while she was studying in class twelve. For which she adapted the screen name Aditi Rai since the film's makers suggested to change her name (Sylvia Dominic) as Kannada actresses rarely had Christian names. She chose to keep it thereafter.[6]
