Academy, South Dakota
Academy is an unincorporated community in Charles Mix County, in the U.S. state of South Dakota.[1] Academy is located at 43°27′23″N 99°04′47″W.
History
A post office called Academy was established in 1899.[2] The community took its name from the Ward Academy, which was once located there.[3]

gollark: Probably memory bandwidth, since IIRC most things only have something like 32 bytes/second even to cache.

gollark: I wonder why this sort of thing doesn't exist on general purpose CPU architectures. Probably just horrible memory bandwidth requirements/accursedly large register files.
