History

APPH began as the British subsidiary, AP Precision Hydraulics, of Automotive Products Leamington Spa England, in 1951. It was based on Shaw Road in Speke.[1]

It was bought by BBA Group in September 1987 for £25 million (£70.84 million current value).

It changed to the name APPH on 3 October 1995.

On 3 February 2014, Héroux-Devtek Inc acquired APPH from BBA Aviation, purchasing 100% of the share capital for US$124M.[2]
