History

The channel's creator, Dean Stobbart, originally a teacher from Norton, County Durham, had in the past been a part-time voice actor who also did some animation for his lessons.[3] He said he saw a gap in the market that "no one had really done football cartoons before", so he made his first animated video, a parody of Uruguayan footballer Luis Suárez and then-Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger in a cartoon parody of a scene from The Silence of the Lambs in August 2013.[3][4] The video currently has 2.5 million views and was followed up with another Suárez-themed video which has received more than 16.8 million views.[5] Since then he has worked with organisations such as TalkSport[6][7] and Sky Sports on animations. His videos have also been featured on Metro and the Spanish Marca[8] He said in an interview with Tubefilter that his next goal is to have two million subscribers (which he reached in July 2018).[9] Although Stobbart had originally created his videos by himself, he has now hired three animators, Sam Dunscombe, Mike Myler and James Williams. Sam Dunscombe and Dean Stobbart have also been featured in some other videos, where they play mobile games such as OSM

In July 2017, he created a new YouTube channel parodying the celebrity world called Celebri2oons.[10] On 24 April 2019, he launched a game called 442oons Football Runner App under 442oons Limited which features fusions of football players: Lionel Suarez (Lionel Messigician (Lionel Messi) and Luis Suárez), Mohamed Milner (Mohamed Salah and James Milner), Cristiano Dybala (Cristiano Arrogantaldo (Cristiano Ronaldo) and Paulo Dybala), Edison Jr. (Edinson Cavani and Notaxmar (Neymar Jr).), Raheem Aguero (Raheem Sterling and Sergio Agüero), Mesut Aubameyang (Mesut Özil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang), and Antoine Costa (Antoine Griezmann) and Diego Costa). He also has been in partnership with the German Bundesliga YouTube channel, Onefootball, The Football Republic and Other Youtube Channels. Other than that his channel has a part in Online Soccer Manager, or OSM, the mobile football game.

gollark: Me neither.
gollark: By pulling down and attempting to parse the horrible mess of available data, we could see what people want for what.
gollark: I have a cool idea: scraping the trade hub periodically to get an idea of what people ask for on trades.
gollark: It's not as if Aeons *are* worth NDs.
gollark: I'm trying to collect whites/purples for a trade for a paper which is up now, but the AP is uncooperative.
