2020 Pro14 Grand Final

The 2020 Pro14 Grand Final was planned to be the final match of the 2019–20 Pro14 season. The 2019–20 season is the sixth with Guinness as the title sponsor, the eleventh with a Grand Final and the third season with 14 teams, following the admission of two South African teams. The match was planned to be at Cardiff City Stadium, which has a capacity of 33,280.[1] However, on 19 March 2020, the Celtic Rugby DAC cancelled the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[2] A new date has been set for 12 September at a venue to be confirmed.[3]

Route to the final

The top two sides from each of the two conferences will meet in the semi-finals with the higher placed team having home advantage. Teams placed second and third in opposite conferences would have met in the two quarter-finals but this has been scrapped this year.[3]

The play-offs are scheduled to take place immediately following the final round of derby fixtures.

gollark: Well, they probably *can't* get help as easily if people have to go through legal wotsits.
gollark: It might also be possible to get other people to help, if it was not for the whole proprietary-code-or-whatever thing.
gollark: I'll go check NPM for charting libraries, even.
gollark: As I said, it's *odd*.
