2020 Papua New Guinea Tri-Nation Series
The 2020 Papua New Guinea Tri-Nation Series was a cricket tournament that was scheduled to take place in Papua New Guinea in June 2020.[1][2] It was scheduled to be a tri-nation series between Nepal, Papua New Guinea and the United Arab Emirates cricket teams,[3] with the matches played as One Day International (ODI) fixtures.[1] All of the matches would form part of the 2019–22 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tournament,[1] which forms part of the qualification pathway to the 2023 Cricket World Cup.[4][5]

However, on 24 March 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that all ICC qualifying events scheduled to take place before 30 June 2020 had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6]
