Discipline

Fair play points would have been used as tiebreakers if the overall and head-to-head records of teams were tied. These were calculated based on yellow and red cards received in all group matches as follows:[3]

  • first yellow card: minus 1 point;
  • indirect red card (second yellow card): minus 3 points;
  • direct red card: minus 4 points;
  • yellow card and direct red card: minus 5 points;

Only one of the above deductions were applied to a player in a single match.

Team Match 1 Match 2 Match 3 Points

 Honduras 1 1 –2
 Jamaica 3 –3
 Curaçao 3 1 –4
 El Salvador 1 3 1 –5
gollark: Do you *not* like open source software?
gollark: But the thing is, you've already *done* the work, other people could benefit from it, and if it's private and you tell nobody about it you can hardly expect to get much back.
gollark: Me too!
gollark: *Vaguely* bees, possibly.
gollark: > and I don't want someone to use my hard workthat is somewhat bees.
