2016 Cavan Senior Hurling Championship
The 2016 Cavan Senior Hurling Championship was the 53rd staging of the competition since its establishment by the Cavan County Board in 1908. The competition is a Gaelic Athletic Association competition which is held between the top hurling clubs in County Cavan.

Cootehill Celtic were the defending champions.[1] The final was held in Breffni Park on 25 September 2016,[2] and ended with Mullahoran St Joseph's beating Cootehill Celtic by 2–7 to 2–6.[3][4] However, Cootehill were later awarded the title (their 5th title) as Mullahoran were adjudged to have fielded an ineligible player.
