- Joel Fletcher's remix of Savage's song "Swing" is certified platinum in Australia where it reached number two on the national singles chart.[1]
- Lorde wins two Grammy Awards for her hit "Royals" for "Song of the Year" and "Best Pop Solo Performance".[2]

- Lorde is named "Best International Female Solo Artist" at the 2014 BRIT Awards.[3]

- Kimbra released her second studio album "The Golden Echo".
gollark: Somehow enabling iLO (HP's remote management thing) in the "shared network port" mode has resulted in my server completely failing to connect to my network at all (apart from the iLO thing) and - somehow - my computer changing its IP to an unrelated one I don't have configured anywhere and failing to connect to anything.
gollark: I'd hope that mostly they're not configured that way.
gollark: I don't think a GPU would help.
gollark: I think most containers don't come with init systems in them.
gollark: I would run it, but it's a bit problematic that the network would break if my server were to fail or whatever.
