- Fernandez was born in Mostaganem, French Algeria (now Algeria), but also qualified to represent France internationally and represented them at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
- Petrić was born in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia), and represented Slovenia at U-17 and U-19 level, but also qualified to represent Serbia internationally and would later represent them at U-21 level.
- Yebda was born in Saint-Maurice, France, and represented them at U-16, U-17, U-18, and U-19 level, but also qualified to represent Algeria internationally and would make his international debut for Algeria in October 2009.
