2004–05 Gateshead F.C. season

The 2004–05 season was Gateshead's first season back in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and their 16th season in total since their reformation in 1977. The club came close to going out of business prior to the season,[1] but with help from the Gateshead Supporters Fighting Fund,[2] the club managed to begin the season[3] and signed a two-year deal with a new sponsor at the beginning of December.[4]
