  • Southern Pacific Railroad single-tracks the Donner Pass mainline.
  • Norfolk Southern ends railroad-sponsored steam excursions.
  • Towards the end of the year, regular use of steam locomotives on the Janakpur Railway, Nepal, is abandoned following the transfer of 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow gauge diesel locomotives from Indian Railways.[3][4]

gollark: Or I could make some sort of horrible very limited CraftOS-PC reimplementation based on the actual Lua library, magically copy whatever OC does, and just make all the `term` calls print TRoR output instead.

gollark: Hmm, maybe you could get persistence out of CraftOS-PC somehow.
gollark: Well, it would mostly be a somewhat useless shiny toy™, but you could do cool things like remote into it from two devices at once, hook it up to ingame peripherals via some other interface and control it from the browser, or maybe even connect up HTTP listeners.
