1987–88 San Antonio Spurs season

The 1987–88 NBA season was the Spurs' 12th season in the NBA and 21st season as a franchise.[1] The season saw the team draft future All-Star and 2-time NBA Champion David Robinson with the first pick in the 1987 NBA Draft, but due to his Naval service, he did not join the team until 1989.
