1981 US Open – Women's Singles

Third-seeded Tracy Austin defeated Martina Navratilova 1–6, 7–6(7–4), 7–6(7–1) in the final to win the Women's Singles tennis title at the 1981 U.S. Open. First-seeded Chris Evert was the defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Martina Navratilova. The loss ended Evert's streak of six consecutive US Open finals.
