1968 US Open – Men's Singles

Arthur Ashe defeated Tom Okker 14–12, 5–7, 6–3, 3–6, 6–3 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 1968 U.S. Open. [1] The 1968 U.S. Open events were conducted from August 29 to September 8, 1968. John Newcombe was the 1967 defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Clark Graebner.
