1928 U.S. National Championships – Men's Singles
Henri Cochet defeated Frank Hunter 4–6, 6–4, 3–6, 7–5, 6–3 in the final to win the Men's Singles tennis title at the 1928 U.S. National Championships.[2] It was Cochet's first U.S. Championships title and his fourth Grand Slam title overall.
