1878 Peterborough by-election

The Peterborough by-election of 1878 was fought on 29 October 1878. The byelection was fought due to the death of the incumbent Liberal MP, George Hammond Whalley.

The result

It was won by the Liberal candidate John Wentworth-FitzWilliam.[1]

gollark: I suspect SQLite would lose out somewhat in storage efficiency, but it could plausibly be faster for many things at runtime.
