Wind-whelks

A wind-whelk.

Wind-whelks were small, flying creatures found in the Deepwoods. They resembled shellfish suspended by balloons, and they hunted woodgrubs and thousandfoots. Wind-whelks were preyed upon by weezits. They were mentioned in Clash of the Sky Galleons.[1]
