Hairy thousandfoots

Hairy thousandfoots were extremely long, millipede-like creatures found in the Deepwoods. Though harmless-looking, hairy thousandfoots were dangerous flesh-eaters, capable of stripping the flesh from a finger in seconds. Shrykes considered them to be a delicacy. Hekkle, who guided Rook through the Deepwoods in The Last of the Sky Pirates gave him one of these to eat; Rook described it as delicious.
