Water caverns
The water caverns was a network of vast subterranean chambers behind the Five Falls of the Farrow Ridges. They were inhabited by a clan of White Trogs. The first fourthling to ever explore these caves was Blatch Helmstoft, who also named the caverns.
Cave system
The water caverns consisted of a network of caves, most notably
- the crystal caverns
- the drowning pools[1]
- and the caverns of the white trogs.
The Water Caverns were could be accessed over the five falls, and the first cavern was a great domed chamber from which the water fell down into Farrow Lake. A small tunnel led to the next cavern, the crystal caverns. They were filled with thousands of huge crystals which vibrated when touched. The third cavern were the drowning pools, a small cavern with stalagmites and stalactites and twelve geysers of water. The drowning pools were used as a trap by the white trogs, who lived in the caves behind them.
Inhabitants
Most notably, the white trogs and their queen lived in the water caves. They either hunted or domesticated other creatures living in the caves, among them air shrimps, enormous cave-spiders and slime snails as well as cavebats.
