The song was popular in Great Glade during the Third Age of Flight, and was sung by the passengers of the New Hoverworm during their journey from the Farrow Lake to the Midwood Decks in c. 620 ᴇ.ʏ..[1]

The name of the song is inspired by the famous poem The Charge of the Light Brigade by Alfred, Lord Tennyson.
