Rock-whelks

Rock-whelks were small molluscs that lived in lakes in the Deepwoods. Some lived around Farrow Lake, which Cade Quarter collected and stored in brine-filled barrels in his cellar, alongside oakapples, pickled blue-cabbage, saltroot and woodpears. They were mentioned in Doombringer.
